Gloria Goins has created award-winning diversity and inclusion programs from their very inception at two Fortune 50 companies. Gloria is currently responsible for leveraging diversity, inclusion and cross cultural competency to advance the organization’s mission and business objectives. She recognizes the challenges of an ever-changing population, in terms of ethnic and racial composition, age and generational attitudes: “we’re very much in the throes of very dynamic changes for the healthcare industry in terms of how services are expected, delivered and paid for.” Gloria also serves an executive coach to the organization’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, and leads the organization’s employee engagement strategy. Under her leadership, Bon Secours achieved the highest employee engagement score in the organization’s history (the 99th percentile), and has been recognized by the Gallup Organization as one of the Top Best Workplaces in the world for the past six years. DiversityInc recognized Bon Secours as one of the top ten 10 best healthcare systems. Becker’s Hospital Review recognized Gloria Goins herself as one of the top ten chief diversity officers in healthcare to know. Goins holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, MBA from Mercer University and BA in Psychology from Stanford University.
